Nautilus of the Abyss:
Fragments coexist.
Decomposition does not disappear. It reorganises. The fish no longer proceeds from a single material or a single gesture. It is composed from remnants, displaced pieces, elements that already existed.
Nothing is neutral. Each fragment carries its wear, its origin.
I work by adding, not by refining. The joints do not conceal difference. Tension remains visible.
The form does not dominate: it negotiates.
The fish reappears as a discontinuous body.
At this point I enter into dialogue with Nevelson, Roth and Miró.
The object has been integrated. Now the gesture takes control.
