Tuning in to Duchamp:

Nothing is modelled.

The form is no longer constructed. It is chosen. The fish does not emerge from modelling or patient assembly. It appears.
Here I do not transform matter; I alter its condition. The object loses function and gains tension.
What changes is not its appearance, but its status.
It is not a fish made.
It is a fish designated.
At this point I enter into dialogue with Duchamp, Tracey Emin and Rauschenberg.

The form is no longer a choice. It becomes a system.
