Black & White:

The gaze constructs.

Movement no longer depends on the body of the sculpture. It depends on the displacement of the viewer. The fish does not assert itself as a stable presence. It vibrates. It interrupts itself.
It appears and disappears according to the angle.
I work with contrast and repetition. Rhythms that tension the plane and disturb continuity.
Nothing is fixed.
The form does not impose itself: it activates.
What seems stable dissolves into perception.
At this point I enter into dialogue with Vasarely, Agam and Soto..

The form was vibration. Now it becomes sign.
