The gesture organises space.

The integrated object loses weight. What remains is action. The fish is no longer articulated through parts: it unfolds in trajectories that revolve around an unstable core.
There is no front or reverse. The structure does not rest: it expands.
I approach the sculpture as an open system. Lines that orbit. Tensions that do not close.
The gaze does not stop. It circles. It crosses. It returns.
The fish no longer advances nor fragments.
It gravitates.
At this point I enter into dialogue with Smith, di Suvero and Chamberlain.

Movement is physical. Now it will become visual.
